FLORENCE, Ala. --- The Mississippi College women's basketball team dropped a 110-81 contest on Thursday evening at North Alabama. MC moves to 9-7 overall and 6-6 in the Gulf South Conference. UNA improved to 15-3 and 9-3 in the league.

KEY STATS
Kelley Allen led MC with 22 points. The Puckett, Miss., native finished one off her season-best of 23 points set against North Alabama on Jan. 14. It marks 12 games in double figures for the junior and is her second straight outing with 22 points.

Ieisha Lacey joined Allen in double-digits. Lacey posted 13 points in the setback – one off her season-best 14 points at Union on Jan. 2.

MC shot 43.9 percent from the floor in the contest, including 50 percent from behind the line – second-best this season. UNA posted a clip of 55.6 from the floor.

UNA received a combined 60 points from Emma and Ivy Wallen. E. Wallen led the team with 31 points while I. Wallen added 29 points.

HOW IT HAPPENEND
North Alabama used an impressive opening quarter as UNA used 12 fast break points to hold an 11-point lead after the first 10 minutes of action.

UNA expanded its lead to 24 points at the half, which was the largest, first half deficit of the season for the Navy and Gold.

The last time Mississippi College gave up 100 points was on Feb. 20, 2012 as Louisiana College posted 102 points.
