Senior Seab Webster scored 20 points with 13 rebounds, while Chayse Elliott came off the bench to go 8-of-9 from the field and score 18 points. UAH held CBU to just 34% shooting from the floor and shot 52% from the field themselves.

- This will be the 10th all-time meeting between the two schools with MC holding a 6-3 edge in the series. The Choctaws won the first six head-to-head meetings, while the Chargers have now won three straight. UAH swept last season's meetings, winning 70-64 in Clinton.

Tristan Hunter scored MC's final four points in the win over West Georgia, tipping in an offensive rebound to take the lead and knocking down to clutch free throws in the final seconds to clinch the game.
- The nationally-ranked Chargers are led by 20th year head coach Lennie Acuff, who is creeping towards 500 career wins at 498-300 in 27 years as a head coach. UAH has won five straight games and is 6-2 away from home this season.
- The Chargers rank 2nd in the GSC in both three-point percentage (.398) and free throw percentage (.763). They are also 4th in the conference in scoring offense (82.0) and defense (74.2) on the year.
- Seab Webster (18.5 ppg, 9.7 rpg) is the team's leader in scoring and rebounding, shooting 44% from the field and 41% from the three-point line. Webster scored 25 points, going 7-of-15 from behind the arc in UAH's 73-63 win in Huntsville. Brandon Roberts (13.5 ppg) is also averaging in double-figures, shooting 48% from long range.
