CLINTON, Miss. --- The Mississippi College volleyball team returns to action this weekend with three contests away from A.E. Wood Coliseum. MC (7-7, 1-6 Gulf South Conference) opens up the weekend stint on Friday, Sept. 30 as it travels to Huntsville, Ala., to face the University of Alabama in Huntsville in a GSC outing at 3 p.m. and its final non-conference meeting against Miles at 5 p.m.

The Navy and Gold round out the road trip against the 24th-ranked University of North Alabama on Saturday, Oct. 1. Match time in Florence, Ala., is slated for 1 p.m.

MC is 1-7 all-time against UAH with the lone victory coming on Sept. 1, 1994 in a 3-0 win in Huntsville. The Lady Choctaws are 2-5 against North Alabama having won the first two in the series. UNA has claimed the last five meetings. Friday marks the first meeting in the series against Miles College.

Jenna Campbell leads the Lady Choctaws with 106 kills on the season while
Bailee Berringer and
Sydney Chandler help guide the offensive unit. Berringer has dished out 212 assists while Chandler has 191. The duo rank among the career leaders in assists.

Defensively,
Madison Kimes has collected 190 digs while
Krista Zieschang reached the 100-dig plateau Tuesday night at West Florida. Zieschang has 109 on the season.
Kayana Mitchell and
Jamila Biglow have 38 and 32 blocks respectively.

Anna Claire Johnson paces UAH with 124 kills while Kirsten Giles has 391 assists. Haley Hop has totaled 170 digs while Caroline Sanford andn Rachel Brugman have 39 and 37 blocks respectively.

Skyler Johnson leads Miles with 110 kills and 131 digs. Kayla Ford has 213 assists while Alexis Reed has 22 blocks.

Natasha Fomina has 196 kills to lead the UNA offense while Jayden Davila McClary has 536 assists. Ashtyn Kapovich and Lexie Bradley guide the defense. Kapovich has 243 digs while Bradley has 37 blocks.

Following the road swing, Mississippi College returns to Clinton on Saturday, Oct. 8 at 11 a.m. against GSC foe Lee University. The match against the Flames is set as a Crohn's Disease Awareness match.
