CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. --- The Mississippi College men's tennis team lost 5-0 to Campbellsville in the National Christian College Athletic Association MidEast Region championship match on Friday morning at the Kelly Hall Tennis Complex.
Playing without two of their seven regular players in the lineup, the Choctaws (14-9) dropped all three doubles matches with the closest coming at #1 as sophomores
Marcos Rocca and
Petar Damjanovic fell 8-5.
In singles action, the Tigers (11-8) finished off the victory with straight-set victories at #2 and #4. Sophomore
Sanders Barrick led the #5 point by a score of 6-5 before the match was called due to completion.

Lucio Menezes, who plays #2 singles and doubles missed the match due to an illness, while senior
Phillip Qu, who plays #3 doubles and #6 singles was also unavailable.
The Choctaws will now wait to see if they are selected for an at-large berth into the NCCAA National Championships, which are being held in Mobile, Ala. (May 10-13).
