CLINTON, Miss. --- The Mississippi College baseball team looks for a season sweep on Tuesday, Mar. 29 as the Choctaws (12-15) host Spring Hill College. First pitch of the single, midweek contest is slated for 4 p.m.

Blaine Crim and
Hunter Hall each recorded two hits and
Jake Fraze garnered the win on the mound 7.2 innings of work.
The midweek contest is the first of four straight at Frierson Field, the second longest home stand of the season, which caps with a three-game, Gulf South Conference series against Valdosta State over the weekend.
Hunter Bolin paces the Navy and Gold offensively batting .409 for the season and sitting second in hits behind
Logan Ferrell's 37 with 36. Ferrell has posted a .366 clip – which is second on the team. Crim and
Caleb Upton top the team in RBI with 18 each.
On the bump, Fraze and
Samuel Harrison lead the staff in strikeouts and innings pitched. Harrison leads the unit with 43 punch outs and is second in innings pitched with 47.1. Fraze has tossed 50.0 frames and is second with 32 strikeouts.
Tyler Scholl leads the pitching staff with a 1.80 ERA with a team-best 17 appearances.
SHC is 15-13 on the season after dropping two-of-three at Miles over the weekend. Alex Jones paces the Purple and White with a .394 batting average, 37 hits and 29 RBI – all tops on the team. Wesley Parish leads the pitching staff with 43.2 innings on the hill and has fanned 48 batters.
