PENSACOLA, Fla. --- The Mississippi College men's tennis team played their sixth nationally-ranked opponent of the season, falling to #10 Valdosta State University 5-1 on Friday night at the UWF Tennis Complex.
The Choctaws (4-8, 1-4 GSC) opened the match with a win at #3 doubles as senior
Dudley Lampton and freshman
Sanders Barrick combined to win 9-7 over Joachim Schemm and Andrew Harvin.
The Blazers (12-4, 7-1) would win the other two doubles points and take three singles matches in straight sets with the other three going unfinished.
The Choctaws will be back in action on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. when they will face #2 West Florida.
