CLINTON, Miss. --- The Mississippi College women's basketball team celebrated "Senior Day" on Saturday afternoon at A.E. Wood Coliseum, falling to The University of Alabama in Huntsville, 63-46.

Jaianah Matthew, who were playing their final games in the "Golden Dome."
The Lady Chargers (11-14, 8-11 GSC) jumped out to a 6-0 lead to open the game and never trailed the Lady Choctaws (8-15, 4-15 GSC). UAH would lead by as many as 19 in the second half before MC went on a run to cut the score to 56-46 with 2:23 remaining. However, the Lady Chargers would pull away, scoring the final seven points of the game.
Bethly made her first start of the season, scoring a career-high 12 points. The Baton Rouge native went 6-of-12 from the field with five steals. Harris and Matthew each had five points, while Lofton scored two.
Junior
Ashley Minor scored nine points off the bench, while junior
Deizarae McCoy had a team-high six rebounds.
Halle Jarnagin led all scorers with 18 points, while Dina Saunders had 13.
The Lady Choctaws will be on the road for the final three games of the season, opening with a Thursday night contest at Lee University in Cleveland, Tenn. at 5:00 pm (Central).
