Senior forward Phillip Buffington set the MC record for career goals scored over the weekend with his second goal in the 6-3 win over Birmingham Southern on Friday.  Buffington added two goals on Sunday in a 2-2 draw against Oglethorpe.  The Jackson, MS native now has 42 career goals and passed Mitch Peters, who previously held the record with 39 goals from '99-'01.  Buffington also had an assist in the win over BSC on Friday.
