Sophomore Adrianna Morgan helped lead the Lady Choctaws to a 2-2 weekend at the Gulf Coast Invitational at the Gulf Shores SportsPlex in Gulf Shores, Ala.
Morgan (Lake Cormorant, Miss.) tossed a complete game in her first outing as a Lady Choctaw, allowing just four hits and one run in a 5-1 win over Embry-Riddle. The University of Memphis transfer walked two and struck out one in the victory.
The Lady Choctaws will be back in action this weekend at the "Falcon Frenzy" in Montevallo, Ala. MC will play six games in three days, facing Miles, Montevallo, Stillman, Indianapolis, Ursuline and Truman State.
