Cortrice Golden averaged a double-double for the week with 14 points and 14.5 rebounds, including her first career double-double with 12 points and a team-best 12 rebounds in the win over then-Gulf South Conference leader North Alabama. Golden also tallied six assists over the three games this week from her post position. The Memphis, Tenn., native also had 11 points in the win over West Georgia. The three wins during the week helped MC extend its season-long win streak to four games.
