Junior Carla Clemmons averaged 12.5 points and 9.0 rebounds per game against nationally-ranked Union and Christian Brothers last week. She also blocked five shots over the two games.
She scored eight points and with eight rebounds against the Bulldogs, backing that up with a double-double, scoring 17 points with 10 rebounds against the Bucs.
On the season, the Rome, Ga. native is averaging 13.1 points and 6.6 rebounds per game. She is shooting 42% from the field with a GSC-leading 18 blocked shots.
Clemmons and the Lady Choctaws will travel to West Florida (Thursday) and Valdosta State (Saturday) to close out the 2015 portion of their schedule.
