Hayes (Warrington, England), helped the Lady Choctaws grab four points over the weekend, with a 1-0 victory over Rollins College on Friday, Sept. 1, and a 0-0 draw against #13 North Georgia on Sunday, Sept. 3. The senior defender served as a driving force behind an MC defense that did not allow a goal in their opening weekend of matches. Hayes saw action in all 200 minutes of Lady Choctaw action, while leading a defense that allowed just three shots on goal over the course of the weekend. Hayes assisted on MC’s lone goal in their 1-0 victory over Rollins College, in addition to tallying two shots and a shot on goal in MC’s first two matches.

The Lady Choctaws will return to action on Friday, Sept. 8 when they host Gulf South Conference-opponent West Alabama in their home opener at 1:30 p.m.
