Freshman Lauren Smith (Birmingham, Ala.) scored the game winning goal in the 107th minute of play against Christian Brothers on Sunday afternoon at Signaigo Field.

The Lady Choctaws (8-1-3, 4-1-2 GSC) and the Bucs (7-4-1, 4-3-1 GSC) remained scoreless through regulation and into overtime. With just over three minutes remaining senior Sayit Mejia Bello (Bogota, Colomibia) put a corner kick into the box and Smith found the back of the net on a header, recording her third finish of the season.

The Lady Choctaws will be back in action on Friday when they host Shorter University at 1:00 p.m. at Longabaugh Field.
