Sophomore Caitlin Hayes (Warrington, England) had an exceptional week as she recorded four goals off of headers in just two games. 

Against Division I Jackson State, Hayes lifted the Lady Choctaws to a 2-0 win in the second half. In the 51st minute of play, freshman Peace Gill (Ashbourne, Derbyshire, England) served a corner across the goal, finding Hayes who headed it into the back of the net for her first goal of the season. The second goal of the match also came off a corner. In the 56th minute of play senior Sayit Mejia Bello (Bogota, Colombia) passed it off to senior Meghan Dodge (Palm Harbor, Fla.) who crossed it in the air to Hayes who was able to head it into the goal, giving the Lady Choctaws the win, 2-0.

Against Ouachita Baptist on Sunday, MC's second half surge gave the Lady Choctaws their fourth straight victory of the season. In the 80th and 83rd minute of play, senior Sayit Mejia Bello (Bogota, Colombia) assisted on MC's final two goals of the day as Hayes headed in two more scores giving MC a 4-0 win. 

The Lady Choctaws will be back in action on Saturday as they host Ouachita Baptist to finish up the home-and-home series. The match is scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m at Longabaugh Field.
