At the Choctaw Open on Saturday freshman Kiana Grant had a big day for the Lady Choctaws winning the 100m Dash (12.39), 200m Dash (25.25) and Triple Jump (11.03m). The Meridian native also finished 2nd in the Long Jump (5.47m).
"She qualified for (NCCAA) nationals with her 100m and 200m times. She has already qualified in the Long Jump, Triple Jump, 400m and both relays, so she will be busy at the NCCAA championshiops in two weeks," explained head coach Butch Ard.Â
The Lady Choctaws will next be in action on Thursday, April 30th when they travel to Rome, Ga. for the NCCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships.Â
