Junior left-handed pitcher Brooks Fortenberry tallied a 0.00 ERA to lead the Choctaws to a 5-1 victory over #24 LeTourneau.

The Magee, Miss. native struck out nine batters and allowed just five hits over 8.2 innings.  He walked two batters and did not allow a single earned run while on the mound.

Fortenberry and the Choctaws will be back in action on Tuesday night as they host Belhaven at 6:00 p.m. at Frierson Field.  MC will travel to Clarksville, Ark. for a three-game series with Ozarks beginning on with a doubleheader on Friday starting at 2:00 p.m. followed by a single-game on Saturday at noon.
