Junior Shay Mickens recorded a .455 batting average in a complete series sweep of conference opponent Concordia Texas.

The Odenville, Ala. native went 5-for-11 with three runs and two RBI.  Mickens was 4-of-5 in stolen bases throughout the series.

Mickens and the Lady Choctaws will be back in action on Tuesday when they host Rust College for a doubleheader beginning at 4:00 p.m. at the MC Softball Complex.  MC will travel to Pineville, Ark. for a three-game series beginning with a single-game on Friday followed by a doubleheader on Saturday.
