Senior wide receiver Alex Archer caught eight passes for 171 yards and two touchdowns in the game against Sul Ross State.

The Shreveport, La. native is leading the team with 25 catches for 459 yards and three touchdowns.  Archer leads the American Southwest Conference with 90.8 receiving yards per game.

Archer and the Choctaws will travel to Brownwood, Texas for a conference game against Howard Payne on October 13th at 2:00 p.m.
