Jeff Lebeau carded a fifth-place finish at Houston Classic falling a stroke shy of third and seven behind the overall winner. The redshirt junior shot a three-round total of 219 (+3 – 75-71-73). He opened the tournament with four birdies including three in the first four holes on the front nine en route to finishing with 11 birdies over 54 holes. His second round tally of 71, tied the Sherbrooke, Ontario native's lowest round score this season. The finish earned him Gulf South Conference Athlete of the Week.
