Wallace captured second overall at Saturday's Gulf South Conference Championships, posting a school-record time of 17:24 in the 5K.  The junior out of Hoover, Ala., was awarded the 2023 GSC runner-up and helped propel the team to become the first-ever women's team to average below the 18-minute mark in the 5K with a team average of 17:53 along with a second-place team finish.
