Alford continues to impress in her collegiate debut season as she led the Choctaws in scoring this week with 36 total points. Alford scored in double figures in both contests to mark her 10th and 11th game in the double digits and 10th straight. The Batesville, Miss., native posted a team-high 23 points against Lee on Thursday evening. It's the fifth time in the campaign she's scored 20-plus points. The freshman also paced the squad with a season-best nine rebounds and totaled team-bests three assists and four steals against the Flames. She followed that performance with 13 points against Shorter.
