Senior Jordan Pritchard has been named the Mississippi College Renasant Bank Male Athlete of the Week, it was announced on Monday (May 6).

Pritchard (Painesville, Ohio) took home the gold medal in the 1,500m Run at the Gulf South Conference Championships in Rome, Ga. His time of 3:55.62 was over a second better than the second-place finisher, while Jake Russell was the bronze medalist in the event with a time of 3:58.00.

Pritchard and the Choctaws scored 108.5 points to finish 3rd at the meet behind Lee and UAH.
