Lauran Sheriff led the Lady Choctaws in scoring this week as she averaged 14 points per game in the two contests with Lee University and UAH. She totaled a team-best 12 points against nationally ranked Lee and followed with a team-leading 16 points against UAH. She grabbed a total of eight rebounds and dished out four assists along with three blocks. Sheriff shot 47.4 percent from the field for the week and connected on 75 percent of her shots from the free throw line. Sheriff ranks second on the team in scoring this season with 10.5 points and 5.5 rebounds.
 
Mississippi College returns to action on Thursday, Jan. 31 as it travels to Huntsville, Ala., to face the University of Alabama in Huntsville.
