Senior Tiberias Lampkin has been named Mississippi College Wright & Ferguson Male Athlete of the Week, it was announced on Monday (Oct. 8).

Lampkin (Sturgis, Miss.) rushed for a career-high 126 yards on 22 carries with two touchdowns. He averaged 5.7 yards per carry with a long of 52 in a loss at Florida Tech.

On the season, Lampkin is averaging 81.4 rushing yards per game with three touchdowns, already eclipsing his scoring number from a season ago.

Lampkin and the Choctaws will be on the road again this Saturday when they travel to Florence, Ala. to face former GSC foe North Alabama at 6:00 p.m.
