Kimball helped lead the Lady Choctaws to a 5-2 win over Division I Jackson State on Tuesday, Feb. 13, and a 9-0 victory over West Georgia in their Gulf South Conference opener on Sunday, Feb. 18.
The senior Shreveport, La. native went a perfect 2-0 in the singles number four spot, and a perfect 2-0 in the doubles number one spot in both of the Lady Choctaw's wins
Kimball's week was highlighted by a pair of straight-set single's victories, with an unscathed 6-0,6-0 win against Jackson State, and a 6-1, 6-0 triumph against West Georgia. Kimball also picked up a 6-3 doubles win against Jackson State, and an 8-1 doubles win versus West Georgia.Â
The Lady Choctaws will return to action on Wednesday, Feb. 21 when they take on Alcorn State in Lorman, Miss. at 2:00 p.m.
