Lauran Sheriff recorded her third, collegiate double-double in the setback to Delta State. The Jackson, Miss., native led Mississippi College with 11 points and 10 rebounds in the setback. Sheriff added three blocks. Sheriff is second on the team in double-doubles. Her 10-rebound effort marks the third of the season and her first since Jan. 15, 2018 against Montevallo. Her three blocks mark her second game this season with three or more blocks. She recorded a season-high four on Dec. 30, 2017 against Tougaloo.
Mississippi College returns to action on Thursday, Feb. 1 as it hosts Auburn University at Montgomery. Tip-off is set for 5:30 p.m.
