Ali Wiggins joins the Choctaw coaching staff after a stellar career in the Blue and Gold.
The Enterprise, Ala., native concluded her collegiate career with the Blue and Gold, helping it to a fifth consecutive Gulf South Conference Tournament, advancing to the semifinals for the second time in program history. Wiggins finished her career ranked in the top in career assists with 1,419, which stands seventh in program history. In the classroom, she was a three-time GSC Academic Honor Roll selection and two-time member of the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team.
She began her collegiate career at Coastal Alabama Community College under Ritchie Dulaney. She was a two-time all-region second team and 2021 all-district selection. She totaled 317 kills, 804 assists, 423 digs, 66 aces and 59 blocks. Prior to her time at CACC, she prepped at Enterprise High School for Janie Wiggins, where she was named to the AHSAAÂ South All-Star Team. She earned Dothan Eagle Super 12 in 2017, 2018, 2019. She closed her prep career with 1,006 kills, 2016 assists, 906 digs, service aces 174, 130 blocks.
