Jonathan "JB" Barber is entering his second year as a graduate assistant in the Sports Performance department at Mississippi College. He will be working with the men's and women's basketball programs in 2019-20.
JB is Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC) through Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCa).
He is also Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through National Strength and Condition Association (NSCA).
JB graduated from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor's in Kinesiology in 2017 and is currently pursuing a Masters degree at MC. While at MC, he assisted with the cheer and pom squad and interned with men's and women's basketball.
He was born in Jackson, Miss. and was raised in Lawrenceville, Ga.
