Anesia McBride

Anesia McBride is entering her second season as the assistant coach for the women's basketball team.

McBride played for the Lady Choctaws from 2007-09, helping lead MC to their first ever appearance in the NCAA Division III Tournament in 2009.  Over her two-year career, McBride played in 53 games, starting 29 for the Lady Choctaws.  Anesia averaged 9.8 points and 6.4 rebounds per game, while shooting 47% from the floor.

McBride played junior college basketball at Meridian Community College for Head Coach Hilary Allen.  While playing for the Eagles, Anesia averaged 16 points and nine rebounds per game.  McBride played her high school ball for Coach Barbara Hartzog at Provine High School in Jackson where she was a Wendy’s High School Heisman nominee.
