Terik Richardson

Born in Jackson, Mississippi, and raised in Madison, Terik Richardson has built an impressive resume as both a player and coach through hard work, dedication, and a lifelong commitment to basketball. A proud graduate of Germantown High School, Terik was a standout athlete for the Mavericks, developing a passion for the game that would guide his future both on and off the court.

Following high school, Terik began his collegiate basketball career at Copiah-Lincoln Community College, where he played under the leadership of Head Coach Kenny Bizot. During his two seasons with the Wolves, he honed his skills and leadership while earning his Associate’s degree in Sports Administration.

Terik continued his academic and athletic journey at Belhaven University, where he completed his Bachelor’s degree in Sports Administration and played his final two collegiate seasons. After graduating, he went on to play professionally in the American Basketball Association (ABA) for the Nassau Pride, where he competed for three seasons and gained valuable experience at the professional level.

In 2023, Terik returned home to Madison to begin his coaching career at his alma mater, Germantown High School. His immediate impact helped the program achieve outstanding success, including a Final Four appearance, a Little Six Championship, and ultimately, a 7A State Championship.

Now stepping into the collegiate coaching ranks, Terik is thrilled to begin his journey at Mississippi College, where he aims to inspire, mentor, and develop student-athletes both on and off the court. His journey—from Germantown to professional basketball and back home to coach—reflects a deep passion for the game and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
