started 42 games for the Choctaws as the primary third baseman...batted .342 with 13 doubles, one triple, and six home runs...scored 38 times and drove in 40 more...stole five bases on six attempts...started one game on the mound posting a 2-1 record with a 5.59 ERA...struck out three batters in 9.2 innings pitched...ASC East Division Hitter of the Week after going 6-7 at the plate with two home runs, five RBI, and five walks in a weekend series against Texas-Tyler...All-ASC East Division First Team selection

played for Coach Sam Temple at Hinds Community College...batted .330 with eight home runs...played for Coach Eddie Lofton at Clinton High School...Mississippi State Games in 2006...All-Star in 2007...led the team in with a .441 batting average as a senior...also recorded 15 doubles and seven home runs
