played two seasons at Northwest Mississippi Community College for Mark Carson…went 2-0 with a save with 24 strikeouts in 18.2 innings during his sophomore season…tossed 24.2 innings during his freshman campaign with a 2.84 ERA and 15 strikeouts…earned the NJCAA Academic Student-Athlete Award and Biology Major Outstanding Student 2015…named to President’s List 2014-2016…member of Phi Theta Kappa…prepped at Magnolia Heights High School for Chris McMinn…went 9-1 on the mound his final two seasons with three saves in 68.1 innings of work…hit .328 with four doubles and a home run with 21 RBI his senior season…named to MAIS All Star team in 2014…All-MAIS First Team in 2014…member of the National’s Honor Society…named to Headmaster’s List from 2011-13 and Principal’s List in 2014…earned Presidential Scholar Award from 2011-13…also ran track and played football.
