SHANE BENNETT, CAMPUS DIRECTOR
Shane Bennett returns to his alma mater to lead the Fellowship of Christian Athletes on the Clinton, Miss., campus. Bennett was a two-time letterwinner for the Choctaw baseball team and earned American Southwest Conference First Team honors in 2010. Bennett began his collegiate career at Hinds Community College, where he played two seasons for the Eagles and earned Mississippi Junior College Athletic Association all-conference laurels.
Prior to returning to MC, Bennett taught World History and Driver's Education at Jackson Preparatory School in Flowood, Miss. During his time at Prep, he helped coach the baseball, football and softball teams. Bennett also taught at Ridgeland High School, prior to his time at Prep. He served as a student teacher in World and United States History as well as helped guide the RHS baseball team.
Bennett earned his Bachelor of Science in Education from Mississippi College in May 2012.
