- Four-year letterwinner in baseball at West Monroe High School in West Monroe, La.
- Helped the Rebels win district championships in all four years and advance to the Class 5A State Championship Game as a senior in 2021
- As a senior in 2021, posted a 10-4 record with a 1.80 ERA over 81 innings, making 15 starts and firing eight complete games with 74 strikeouts and a .204 opponent batting average
- Named a Perfect Game Preseason All-American, First-Team All-State, First-Team All-Parish, First-Team All-NELA, First-Team All-District, was named Academic All-State and earned the Louisiana All-Star Award
- As a junior in 2020, helped WMHS to a 9-4 start to the season while making three starts with a 1-1 record, 2.10 ERA with 13 strikeouts to two walks
