competed for for Aarhus 1900 and Marselisborg Gymnasium...trained under Jakob and Mikkel Larsen before switching to Jens Behrend Christensen...as a youth and junior athlete was a six-time national combined events champion, five-time national relay champion, two-time national hurdles champion and three-time silver medalist, a two-time Danish Athletics High School Champion...competed for the national junior team in the Decathlon, 110m hurdles, Long jump and the 4x400m...three-time silver medalist at the Danish Team Championships for seniors...holds the Danish junior and u23 record in the 4x400m (3:19.55) as well as the record for highest score achieved at Danish Junior Team Championships.
