MEMPHIS, Tenn. --- MC women's basketball snapped a two-game slide as it defeated Christian Brothers University, 76-68, picking up its second road victory of the season. MC improves to 9-13 on the season and 8-9 in Gulf South Conference play. CBU falls to 3-19 and still searching for its first conference win of the season.

Four Choctaws scored in double figures led by
Karly Ivy's 19 points. The Denton, Texas, native also added three steals and grabbed three defensive rebounds.
Vivian Sketoe added 14 points and recorded six assists while also collecting three steals.
Nia Coleman posted 12 points and grabbed five rebounds.
Keller Bigham finished with 11 points, hitting three 3-pointers and adding one steal.

MC and Christian Brothers traded blows early, with the Lady Bucs edging ahead 15-14 after one quarter despite MC forcing turnovers and controlling the paint. CBU extended its lead in the second quarter behind efficient shooting, including two 3-pointers, while MC struggled from the field. Although the Choctaws created extra chances with offensive rebounds, the Red and Black carried a 35-26 advantage into halftime.

MC flipped the game after the break, dominating the third quarter 21-10 with strong defense, timely 3-point shooting, and perfect free-throw accuracy to take a 47-42 lead. The Choctaws stayed hot in the fourth, shooting 73 percent from the field and knocking down three more triples. Late free throws sealed the comeback.

Donee' Frazier led the Lady Bucs with 22 points, connecting on 8 of 12 field goals and 6 of 8 free throws, while also securing eight rebounds. Alice Conrad contributed 18 points, hitting four 3-pointers and recording two steals.

MC returns to action on Thursday, Feb. 12 as hosts West Florida in one of two remaining home games in the regular season. Tip-off is 5:30 p.m.
