DALLAS, Texas — Texas Woman's secured a decisive 4-0 victory over Mississippi College on Saturday at Mountain View College Stadium. The match remained scoreless through the first half, but Texas Woman's broke through with a four-goal second half, highlighted by their efficient attack, converting four of their seven shots on goal. The Choctaws struggled offensively, failing to register a single shot on target.

The first half featured a strong defensive effort from Mississippi College, highlighted by goalkeeper Rylie Waclawczyk's critical saves at the 13th and 26th minutes, denying Texas Woman's scoring opportunities. Texas Woman's struggled with offside calls, being flagged three times, which disrupted their offensive flow. Despite several fouls committed by the Choctaws, the team maintained composure to keep the score level at 0-0 by the end of the half.

The second half began with a series of defensive challenges for the Choctaws, marked by early fouls from Olivia Graham and Brinnslee Picard. Texas Woman's capitalized on their opportunities with Nadia Araiza opening the scoring in the 52nd minute, followed by Alyssa Striker's goal just five minutes later. Despite efforts to stifle the attack, the Choctaws saw Texas Woman's extend their lead with two more goals, ultimately concluding the half with a 4-0 advantage.

Mississippi College and Texas Woman's ended the first half in a scoreless tie. Waclawczyk was crucial in goal, making two saves, including a key stop against Mia Thaxton. TWU's Nadia Araiza opened the scoring in the 52nd minute, followed by Alyssa Striker and Giselle Gutierrez, who extended the lead before Gianna Antovoni capped the scoring in the 75th minute. 

Waclawczyk played the full 90 minutes in goal, recording two saves against seven shots faced. Despite the defensive efforts, Waclawczyk conceded four goals in the match.
