MADISON, Miss. – The team of Ethan Doan, Terrell Winstead, Johnathan Winstead, and Elliot Bingham delivered a stellar performance Friday morning at Lake Caroline Golf Club, carding a 54 (−18) to win the Championship Flight in Day 2 of the MC Athletics Golf Tournament.
Finishing just one stroke behind, Ross Hailey, Brent Cofield, Bryson Jones, and Harper Hudnall turned in an impressive 55 (−17) to claim second place in the top flight.
In the First Flight, Russ Ogburn, Justin Morris, Mason Irby, and Josh Johnson earned first-place honors with a 62 (−10). The team of Ryman Busby, Jeremy Rodden, Joseph Hornback, and Nic James also shot 62 (−10) and took second place via scorecard tiebreak.
The Friday morning round capped off the first half of Day 2 play, continuing a strong showing across the tournament that supports Mississippi College Athletics.
