MADISON, Miss. – On a beautiful spring afternoon at Lake Caroline Golf Club, 26 teams teed off in support of Mississippi College Athletics during the 2025 MC Athletics Golf Tournament, with bragging rights and prizes on the line across multiple flights.
Rising to the top of the Championship Flight, the team of Brent Belton, Jenna Belton, Randy Smith, and Ben Eichelberger delivered a scorching performance, carding a 51 (−21) to take home first-place honors.
Just two strokes behind was the team of Josh Foust, Ethan Doan, and Team State Farm, who shot a 53 (−19) to claim second place in the premier grouping.
In the First Flight, the combined Team Ergon squad of Ryan Lee, Hunter Ainsworth, Will Lampton, and Cade Sherman — fired a solid 61 (−11) to secure first place. David Holloway, Gary Richardson, Jay Richardson, and Jim McCullough earned second place with a 61 (−11), coming out ahead in a four-way tiebreak.
Participants also competed for closest-to-the-pin and longest-drive hole prizes, with raffle drawings and sponsor gifts rounding out an exciting day at the course.
