TUNICA, Miss. — Linus Doverfors and
Jeffrey Lebeau led Mississippi College during the 2025 Gulf South Conference Men's Golf Championship, which concluded Saturday, April 19 at Tunica National Golf & Tennis Club.
Doverfors capped off a steady showing with a final-round 77 (+5), bringing his three-day total to 233 (+17). After opening with a 74, the sophomore battled tough scoring conditions on Friday with an 82, then rebounded with a composed 77 in round three. He finished tied for 25th overall and led MC in birdies across the tournament.
Lebeau continued his upward trend, adding an 80 (+8) in Saturday's final round to finish at 244 (+28). The senior's tournament included a strong second-round 78, and his final round featured a solid back-nine 37.
Owen Wallace finished with 247 (+31) overall, followed by
Caleb Butler with a 248 (+36) and
Alexander Topgaard wrapped up his tournament at 253 (+37).
Mississippi College placed ninth in the team standings with a final score of 942 (+105), improving by 21 shots over its second-round total.
No. 2 West Florida ran away with the title at 6-under par, followed by Lee (+24) and Delta State (+36) to round out the podium.
