CLINTON, Miss. --- The Mississippi College baseball team continued its climb in the latest latest National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) South Region Poll, moving up to No. 6. The Choctaws, now 17-9 on the season, moved up two spots from their previous No. 8 ranking, following a 4-1 record in five road games last week.

Tampa remains the top-ranked team in the poll, followed by Delta State, Rollins, Florida Southern, and West Florida.

The Choctaws look to build on their momentum, traveling to West Alabama on Tuesday, Mar. 18 for a non-conference tilt before returning for a three-game, home, Gulf South Conference series against Trevecca Nazarene.
