Mississippi College Falls to West Alabama 77-53

CLINTON, Miss. — On Saturday, Mississippi College fell to West Alabama 77-53 at A.E. Wood Coliseum, with Mississippi College unable to overcome a halftime deficit. Despite the loss, the Choctaws recorded five blocks and four steals in the matchup.

The game commenced with West Alabama's Elliot Tulip hitting a 3-pointer at 19:02, assisted by Christian Thompson, establishing an early lead. Mississippi College's Avaughn Johnson responded with a jumper at 18:14 to narrow the gap to 3-2. Caleb Parr of West Alabama extended their lead with consecutive 3-pointers, the first at 14:47 with an assist from BJ Brown, pushing the score to 16-8.
