HUNTSVILLE, Ala. --- Mississippi College fell in straight sets on Tuesday evening as UAH avenged an earlier sweep this season in Clinton. UAH improved to 12-4 overall while MC moved to 7-10. Both squads moved to 4-3 in the Gulf South Conference.
Samarin Kipple led the defensive effort for the Choctaws with 15 digs. 
Mary Grace Foster contributed significantly with five kills and seven assists, adding a block assist to her performance. 
Reese Regner matched Foster's playmaking ability, tallying seven assists over two sets. 
Meg Paparella was active defensively, collecting eight digs across the match.
The opening two sets started with big scoring runs from the Chargers that the Blue and Gold had a difficult time recovering from. The first set, UAH took an early advantage, claiming a 7-2 margin. MC found momentum mid-set through Foster, who secured multiple kills with assists from Regner, helping to narrow the deficit to 8-5. Despite a late push from the Choctaws, including kills from 
Cydney Mitchell and 
Holland Williams, UAH maintained control and closed the set 25-14.
UAH opened the second set with a strong surge, quickly advancing to a 7-1 lead, capitalizing on several attack errors from MC. Despite a service error by UAH, MC found difficulty gaining momentum as the Chargers extended their lead with a series of kills and a service ace, stretching the score to 14-5. The Blue and Gold managed to break through occasionally, with Mitchell and Foster contributing key points to narrow the gap. However, UAH's consistent offensive pressure kept the home team ahead, securing a 25-13 victory.
The third set began with UAH capitalizing on early errors by MC, quickly establishing a 2-0 lead with a service ace from Kelsey Gasaway. The Choctaws managed to close the gap to 3-2, aided by a service error from UAH. However, UAH responded with a series of kills and aces, extending their lead to 8-3. MC's efforts to regain momentum were highlighted by a kill from 
Audrianna Green, but UAH maintained the pressure, pushing the score to 13-5. A block by Foster and 
Aubrie Lay briefly halted UAH's run, but the Blue and White continued to build on their advantage, reaching 19-7. Despite a service ace from 
Rylie Widener, MC struggled to mount a comeback as UAH's offense remained consistent. The set concluded with UAH taking the set 25-10, highlighted by a kill from Anna Clare Hutto.
The Choctaws will face Valdosta State on Friday, Oct. 10 in Clinton, Miss. The match is set to begin at 6 p.m.
