CLINTON, Miss. — Mississippi College softball continues to pile up more accolades with the recognition of four standout softball players named to the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) All-South Region teams. One player earned First Team honors, while three were named to the Second Team.
First Team All-South Region
Jordan LaFosse, Shortstop Jordan LaFosse secured a spot on the D2CCA First Team All-South Region with her exceptional play at shortstop. LaFosse led the team offensively with a .401 batting average, 14 home runs, 61 RBIs, and 20 doubles. Her defensive skills have made her a cornerstone for the Choctaws. LaFosse has also been a two-time First Team All-GSC selection, reflecting her consistent excellence.
Second Team All-South Region
McCall Lee, Catcher McCall Lee was named to the D2CCA Second Team All-South Region. Lee posted a .379 batting average, with 67 hits, 16 home runs, and 42 RBIs. She also earned the 2024 First Team All-GSC and Co-Gold Glove GSC awards. Her previous accolades include the 2023 GSC Player of the Year, NFCA South Region Player of the Year, and NFCA First Team All-American.
Camryn Bailey, Pitcher Camryn Bailey earned a place on the Second Team with her outstanding pitching. Bailey finished the season with a 2.68 ERA, a 26-5 record, and 209 strikeouts over 183 innings. She was a three-time GSC Pitcher of the Week and broke Mississippi College's records for most wins and strikeouts in a season. Bailey was also named 2024 First Team All-GSC.
Kamryn Eaton, DP or Utility/Non-Pitcher Kamryn Eaton's offensive power earned her a spot on the D2CCA Second Team. Eaton recorded a .397 batting average, 12 home runs, 44 RBIs, and a .750 slugging percentage. Her performance also secured her a place on the 2023 First Team All-GSC as a Designated Player and NFCA Third Team All-American.
