DALLAS, Texas  — Mississippi College's men's basketball team dropped a neutral-site matchup to East Central, falling 72-58 Saturday evening.
The Choctaws were competitive early, with a solid first-half performance that saw them trail by just eight at the break, 40-32.
JJ Harris led the way for Mississippi College with 17 points and 10 rebounds, while Ty Briscoe added 16 points and six assists. The duo, who combined for 33 points on the night
Despite the setback, Mississippi College will quickly look ahead to Monday night's exhibition contest at Louisiana Tech (6:30 p.m. CT), hoping to bounce back before resuming regular season action.
