LAREDO, TX – Mississippi College and Texas A&M International played to a 0-0 draw in their season opener at Dustdevil Field on Thursday on the pitch.
In the midfield, Avery Hederman, Emma Young, and Margherita Giubilato each took a shot during the game, with Hederman and Young playing the full 90 minutes.
Erin Hederman also had a shot during her 67-minute appearance while Kaylee Foster took two shots during her time on the pitch.

Defensively, the Lady Choctaws were steadfast, ensuring a clean sheet against Texas A&M International. Goalkeeper Jessi Carro played the entirety of the match, making four crucial saves to deny Texas A&M International from scoring.
As a team, the Lady Choctaws tallied 10 shots on the evening with two total shots on goal, while holding the opposition to 10 shots and four shots on goal.
Mississippi College returns to action on Saturday, as they look to pick up their first win of the season versus St. Mary's. Both teams take to the pitch beginning at 12 p.m. CST in San Antonio, Texas.
