Mississippi College Track and Field Unveils 2023-24 Indoor Schedule

CLINTON, Miss. – As the indoor track and field season approaches, Mississippi College Track and Field has officially released its full schedule for the 2023-24 indoor season.

The start of the season is just around the corner, set to kick off on Friday, December 1, 2023, with the BSC Panther Indoor Icebreaker in Birmingham, Alabama. This meet begins a series of competitive events that will take the Choctaws from coast to coast.

Key events include the plethora of events hosted by Boston University, meets that have been a platform for national qualifiers in the past. The team will also compete at the 9th Annual Gorilla Classic on February 9, 2024, in Pittsburg, Kansas, which is expected to be a national qualifier for relay events. The Gulf South Conference Championships will be a focal point for the Choctaws, with the men's team aiming to defend their title and the women's team seeking to upgrade last year's runner-up finish. The season will culminate at the 2023 NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field National Championships, where the men's team aims to improve upon their impressive 10th place finish from the previous year.
