CLINTON, Miss. --- The NCAA Division II South Region Crossover schedule between the Gulf South Conference and Sunshine State Conference has been announced and the Mississippi College volleyball team knows its three opponents during the two-day event.

The Choctaws (8-9) open the Crossover against Saint Leo University on Friday, Oct. 20 at 6 p.m. central. It marks the third meeting between the two programs. The Lions (8-9), which are eighth in the SSC, hold the advantage in the series as they have claimed both outings, the last coming on Oct. 19, 2019, during the Crossover in Hoover, Ala., in four, closely-contested sets. The initial contest was on Oct. 3, 1986 in Martin, Tenn.

MC closes out the Crossover on Saturday, Oct. 21 with a pair of first-time opponents. The Blue and Gold open the day at 11:15 a.m. central against the third ranked University of Tampa. The Spartans (17-0) picked up a first-place vote in the latest American Volleyball Coaches Association Top 25 and are the only SSC institution in the poll.

The Choctaws close out the two-day event against Florida Southern College at 6 p.m. central. The Mocs enter the Crossover sporting an 11-6 mark and are sixth in the Florida-based conference.
