Men's 4x400 Relay Advances to National Championship Finals

ALLENDALE, Mich. --- The Mississippi College outdoor track and field teams took to the track for the second day of the NCAA Division II National Championships on the campus of Grand Valley State University on Friday, May 27.
 
The men's 4x400 foursome of Gabe Hodson, Will Grames, Jake Russell and Wesley Gibbs posted a time of 3:12.12 to finish fourth in the second heat of the event preliminaries. The time placed the Choctaws into the event finals as one of the nine teams to advance forward.
 
The 4x400 finals are set for Saturday, May 28 at 4:50 p.m.
 
Tytavia Hardy concluded the Friday action for the Navy and Gold as she finished fifth in the second heat of the women's 100-meter hurdles. The Pensacola, Fla., native posted a time of 14.20 to finish 17th overall.
