CLINTON, Miss. --- The Mississippi College men's tennis team returned from a long layoff with a 6-1 loss to Montevallo on Saturday afternoon at the MC Tennis Complex.
The Choctaws (1-7, 1-3 GSC) dropped the opening doubles point and the Falcons (3-7, 2-2 GSC) won 5-of-6 singles matches to clinch the victory.

DOUBLES ACTION
 - The Choctaws were able to get a win at #1 as
Matias Ballatore and
Carlos Trujillo picked up a 6-3 victory.
 - The Falcons bounced back with wins at #2 and #3 to take the opening point.
SINGLES ACTION
 -
Maksym Konovalov gave the Choctaws their point in the match with a straight-set win at #6 (6-1, 6-4).
 - Three other matches went to three sets with MC winning the first set in all three and falling in the final two sets.

Shane Samyn played a tight match at #5, falling in the final set, 10-8.
